Weddington Middle School sponsors a “loose-change drive” to collect money to give to those less fortunate during the holiday season.

General Information
Weddington Middle partnered with Walter Bickett Elementary School a few years ago to identify elementary school students who could benefit from a little help at Christmas; the perfect benefactor of the school's money-raising effort.
Weddington Middle’s parent teacher organization helps out in the effort by keeping a tally of the money collected in each homeroom. The homerooms make it a competition to see who can raise the most money.
Student council students will shop for gifts and wrap them. They will present all the gifts to selected Walter Bickett students before winter break.
