2023-2024 PTSO Board

Please vote for the incoming Board members for the 2023-2024 Board Members.

Preeti Krishna for Vice President

My name is Preeti Krishna and I’ll be joining WMS PTSO as the new 2023-2024 Vice President. I want to introduce myself and express how excited I am to be part of this group and serve you.

Growing up in India I’ve had the opportunity to travel across the country and gain rich diverse cultural experiences. Upon landing in the United States I completed my Masters from The University of Kansas (I’m a fan of JayHawks and KC Chiefs!), after which I worked in multiple roles with varied responsibilities in the areas of Finance, Digital Transformation Consulting, Program Management and Strategic Leadership and continue to gain experiences travelling across the United States.

As a devoted mother of a 12 year old boy in WMS 7th grade, a wife and a Senior Technology Executive at a leading global food company focusing on human and animal nutrition, I’m strongly committed to serving the community. I currently serve as an Executive Board member for a Youth Development non-profit organization and looking to work with PTSO and each of you this year.

Caroline Trinh for Vice President

As a Queen City native I've ways felt strongly about my commitment to volunteering in schools my children have attended. I've been involved in all levels for each child from Committee Chairs to BOE.

My experience as chair of the yard sale and BFF committee has readied me for the Vice President position here at WMS.  I feel it is important to be involved because you only get out what you put into it!  Thank you for your consideration and I look forward to your support.

Kimberly Church for Secretary

I graduated from the Naval Academy and served as a Nuclear Surface Warfare Officer. After the Navy, I worked in nuclear operations at a commercial power plant and then as a supply chain lead for new builds and servicing existing nuclear power plants.
I enjoy being involved in the local community. I have served as Vice chair for the Town of Weddington’s Public Safety Committee, my local church’s Long Range Planning team, and am currently ending my 3-year term as Antioch Elementary‘s PTO president.
I have a rising 4th, 6th, and 8th grader. I hope to continue to support the community, especially our WMS families.
